Quick Glance into the Studio

I just noticed a similarity between the (unfinished) small painting of a wolf hanging on my studio wall, and a pregnancy drawing I made recently. There is a certain intense waiting inherent in both figures, though in the wolf's case, I'm not sure if he/she is an outsider passively observing something, or getting ready to pounce and kill...in the woman's case, I think it is quite clear that her waiting is focused inward, and not necessarily felt to be a happy activity.
