This postcard employs two broken pieces of my trusty sewing machine, which was given to me by Gail years ago. I recently had these parts replaced for an amount of money that would have bought me a new machine, but I believe in, and love, those sturdy, wise, old tools that - overall - know how to survive me.

And again I had the impulse to open this, but it's not to be opened! This is one of the chips bags we bandmates buy along with beers after rehearsal...stuffed with foam core, and with a ticket stub and stamps added.
