Yet More Daily Baby...it's addictive

...I like the open quality on the right side of this drawing, it's as though he's slipping off into the vast openness of Dreamland.

Daily Drawings

My mom studied sculpture at the Hochschule der Bildenden Kuenste Berlin. Having her first child while still at school, she started drawing my oldest brother Kai when he was an infant. Many drawings of Kai, our brother Derrick, and myself followed, ranging from infanthood to maybe 10 years old.
Following in her footsteps, I am aiming to make one drawing daily of my two-month-old son Hopper. Now I understand why so many of those drawings are of us asleep...children squiggle & squirm & move. Being somewhat rusty in the drawing department, it's good to practice again, while getting a good long look at this new little person.
